Madison Thompson, PLPC

Madison is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana and is under the supervision of a board-approved Licensed Professional Counselor. Madison holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Madison enjoys working with adults and adolescents. Madison also works individually with clients, with families, and in a group therapy setting. Madison is interested in working with clients needing career counseling, addictions counseling, and family systems issues.

Madison works from a core Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach but integrates other theoretical techniques to create the best treatment for the client. The main thing Madison emphasizes in her therapeutic work is creating a safe environment for individuals to explore their personal experiences, thoughts, feelings and emotions. Madison provides an atmosphere free of judgment and works with the client as a collaborator to aid in the client’s needs.
