Terri Grygier, M.S, LMSW

Licensed Social Worker

Who I Work With

I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and neurodivergent individuals. My clinical experience includes supporting people navigating depression, anxiety, grief, addiction recovery (not in active addiction), eating disorders, and life transitions. I also welcome anyone seeking a confidential, nonjudgmental space to process their experiences and feel genuinely heard.

How I Work

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in meeting each person where they are. I draw from several evidence-based and integrative modalities, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Mindfulness-Based Approaches

I aim to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore their inner world at a pace that feels right for them.

My Philosophy

I believe that every person experiences life through a unique lens shaped by their history, identity, and relationships. Healing begins when we feel understood, validated, and connected to our own inner wisdom. I see therapy as a collaborative journey—one that honors your lived experience, nurtures self-compassion, and helps you build a life that feels aligned with who you are and who you’re becoming.

A Bit About Me

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy traveling, playing and teaching guitar, and spending time with my husband, our three kids, and our German Shepherd, Sally. I run a free monthly support group for teens and stay involved in community charity work, including school supply drives and Christmas resource programs for children. These connections keep me grounded in the values of service, compassion, and community care.

Closing

If you’re looking for a therapist who offers a supportive, relational, and individualized approach to healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
