Tammy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling Education with emphasis on Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William Carey University-Tradition and is trained in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. In addition, Tammy is a member of the Louisiana Counseling Association.
Tammy is a counselor with extensive experience working with individuals and couples presenting with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts. Tammy collaborates with her clients, creating a safe space for working towards their desired outcomes. She believes all individuals possess within themselves every resource necessary to heal. She provides a holistic and integrative approach, tailored to the client’s specific stated needs, that promotes wellness and facilitates healing through her belief and hope for every client.
Clients embrace the ability to move from a sense of unrest to a safer space and a hopeful future.In addition, Tammy also provides acceptance, warmth, and empathy, to support and empower her clients to use their internal strengths and resources to obtain their desired outcomes and live out the best versions of themselves. Tammy refers to this as “Hope Dealing”!
