Kearstin Sanders-Morgan, PLPC
Kearstin is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC). She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University in 2022. She is trained in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and AutPlay Therapy. Kearstin is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA), Postpartum Support International (PSI), and Somatic Experiencing International (SEI).
Kearstin is interested in working with couples and individuals ages 5+ struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, life transitions, and family and relationship issues. She is especially passionate about supporting parents as they navigate balancing the multitude of demands and responsibilities that parenthood entails.
Kearstin is a trauma-informed counselor who values a holistic approach to counseling that supports her client’s mind, body, and spirit. She strives to help individuals learn new ways to process difficult feelings and emotions, improve relationships and self-image, and navigate stressful situations in life with grace and self-compassion. Kearstin’s most important goal as a counselor is to provide a safe and nurturing environment so that her clients feel valued and respected as they collaboratively work towards her client’s goals.
