Kayla is a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT). She holds a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family therapy from The University of Alabama. Kayla has spent her time in her Master’s program working with children, adolescents, and their families. Her work from a systems perspective gives her better insight into understanding and working with families.
Kayla has experience working with children, adolescents, and their families who present with anxiety, depression, anger issues, self-esteem issues, adjustment issues, and family issues such as coping with divorced parents. Kayla’s counseling style is unique in that she personalizes therapy for the needs of each child, adolescent, and family. She believes in feedback from the client and wants to create a warm environment full of trust and empathy for the client.
