Who I Work With

I specialize in working with adults, couples, and first responders who are navigating complex trauma, shock trauma, relational trauma, and early developmental physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Whether you’re experiencing the lingering effects of early attachment wounds, high-impact events, or overwhelming stress, I provide a compassionate and grounded space for healing.

How I Work

My approach is embodied, relational, and deeply attuned to your unique nervous system. I integrate evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities such as:

  • Somatic Experiencing® (SEP)
  • Relational Bodywork and Somatic Education (BASE™)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR®)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Attachment Repatterning (DARe)
  • Brainspotting
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Through these methods, I help clients restore a sense of safety, connection, and inner coherence. My work is rooted in the belief that healing occurs not just through insight, but in the presence of a safe, attuned relationship that honors the wisdom of the body and its story.

My Philosophy

As the founder of Northshore Family Counseling, I’ve built this practice around values of relational integrity, cultural humility, and somatic awareness. I know firsthand that the path to healing requires courage, and I’m committed to walking alongside you with curiosity, respect, and care. I believe in your capacity for transformation, and it is an honor to support you on this journey.

A Bit About Me

When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors trail running, cycling, and hiking with my two fun-loving dogs, Hoku and Kapua. Time in nature helps me feel grounded and renewed. I also love traveling and exploring new places and cultures; it opens my perspective and deepens my appreciation for the world. At the heart of it all, I find the most meaning in my connections with family, friends, and the communities around me. Connection with others reminds me of what truly matters.Closing

If you’re looking for a therapist who will honor your experience, work collaboratively, and support you in healing at your own pace, I would be honored to work with you.
