Amanda Williams, LPC, NCC
Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She has earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Amanda is trained in the use of Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Amanda is currently a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and the American Counseling Association (ACA).
Amanda has experience working with youth, adults, couples, and group counseling. She has worked with a variety of issues including but not limited to: complex trauma, anxiety and depression, maintenance in addiction recovery, marital and relational distress, Autism Spectrum Disorder, gender dysphoria, and familial issues. As a former educator, Amanda is passionate about bringing awareness to mental health concerns and walking alongside individuals as they fully discover themselves.
Amanda has a special place in her heart for crisis and trauma counseling for both adults and children and has received specialized training for this focus. Using collaboration between the client and counselor, Amanda’s counseling style emphasizes the client as the expert within her sessions and focuses on personalizing therapeutic interventions for each person, family, and group.
