Linda is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Marshall University in Huntington, WV.   Linda is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and Louisiana School Counselors Association.

Linda has experience working with teenagers and families who are going through difficult adjustments.  She has been an educator for over 25 years and has helped hundreds of young people learn positive coping skills. Linda was instrumental in helping those who struggle with depression, anger, grief and loss, and codependency. She also enjoys working with educators, soldiers and first responders whose jobs involve many traumatic experiences.

She has further invested in continuing education that focuses on building 21st century counseling skills to meet the unique needs of our changing world.  Linda has an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Techniques which are practical interventions and skills clients can learn to better navigate their individual journeys.  She provides unconditional positive regard for all clients so they can feel safe while working toward resolving personal concerns.
